algumas das personalidades americanas (investigadores, professores, académicos, ...) que se têm dedicado ao estudo da aplicação da &lt;i&gt;mindfulness &lt;/i&gt;(atenção plena) em contexto escolar e familiar.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: white;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"&gt;&lt;span class="" style="line-height: 18px;"&gt;O Dr. Mark Greenberg, diretor do Prevention Research Center da Universidade Penn State, examina as relações entre as atividades de consciência intrapessoal, como sentar e caminhar, meditação e atividades mindfulness interpessoal, tais como a escuta atenta, a regulação das reações emocionais e a prática da compaixão.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="" style="line-height: 18px;"&gt;Ele ressalta a dimensão ética da atenção plena, que é frequentemente reflectida nos Orçamentos do Estado, não estando dependente exclusivamente de critérios economicistas e das flutuações do mercado de emprego.” Estas são palavras retiradas do programa político que apresentámos às últimas eleições legislativas e que fazemos questão de frisar neste momento crucial para Portugal.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: georgia; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 5px; text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: georgia; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 5px; text-align: justify;"&gt;É com grande apreensão que o PAN vê o futuro da educação em Portugal, à luz do relatório emitido pelo governo acerca do Orçamento de Estado para 2012, que prevê um corte orçamental no sector de perto de 900 milhões de euros. As gerações mais novas não poderão pagar o preço elevado que se irá exigir quanto a algo em que não participaram diretamente. Deste modo estaremos a hipotecar o futuro das crianças e jovens que serão os cidadãos adultos de amanhã.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: georgia; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 5px; text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: georgia; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 5px; text-align: justify;"&gt;Louvamos o corte nas estruturas dirigentes de que fala o documento, mas estamos apreensivos relativamente à forma como ficarão estruturados os serviços pertencentes ao Ministério da Educação e Ciência (MEC).&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: georgia; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 5px; text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: georgia; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 5px; text-align: justify;"&gt;Dada a situação de recessão não só nacional mas também internacional, é importante investir num programa pedagógico que alerte para a redução das necessidades artificiais, que permita oferecer alternativas ao produtivismo e ao consumismo, fazendo do trabalho e do desenvolvimento económico não um fim em si mesmo mas apenas um meio para a fruição de um crescente tempo livre de modo mais gratificante e criativo.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: georgia; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 5px; text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: georgia; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 5px; text-align: justify;"&gt;Concordamos com a melhoria das aprendizagens, a elevação dos níveis de qualificação dos jovens e adultos e o combate ao abandono escolar precoce, desde que a educação seja centrada numa perspectiva de desenvolvimento do ser humano, de forma integral e ao longo da vida. A preparação dos jovens para o mercado de trabalho deve basear-se numa educação enquanto meio de desenvolvimento pessoal e social e não apenas como ferramenta de ascensão social. Deve dignificar-se todas as profissões, sobretudo aquelas que hoje não exigem tantas qualificações por parte dos seus profissionais, de forma a cativar os jovens para o exercício das mesmas. Deve criar-se condições para que a tomada de consciência vocacional seja mais efectiva e reduzir exames desnecessários, impedindo que o “factor nota” seja determinante.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: georgia; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 5px; text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: georgia; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 5px; text-align: justify;"&gt;Apoiamos a reorganização e racionalização dos currículos, bem como a revisão de planos e projectos associados à promoção do sucesso escolar, não descurando o papel fundamental que têm vindo a assumir as práticas de atenção plena, concentração e relaxamento em contexto educativo. Estas práticas potenciam o bem-estar emocional, o incremento dos níveis de atenção e de concentração, a melhoria da memória, a melhoria no desempenho académico, a auto-aceitação, bem como as competências de auto-regulamento e autocompreensão, tal como confirmam os dados científicos obtidos através de diversos estudos nesta área, em países estrangeiros.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: georgia; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 5px; text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: georgia; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 5px; text-align: justify;"&gt;O sucesso escolar passará também por uma redução dos programas curriculares dos vários ciclos de ensino e pela adequação das cargas horárias e a respectiva distribuição de modo a que as crianças e adolescentes tenham tempo para conviver, fazendo da escola um espaço de encontro e de alegria.&lt;br /&gt;Contrariamente ao que o MEC este ano legislou relativamente às turmas de 1.º ano de escolaridade, que passaram a poder ter um máximo de 26 alunos, seria fundamental a redução, no ensino obrigatório, do número de alunos por turma, de modo a garantir um ensino de maior qualidade.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: georgia; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 5px; text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: georgia; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 5px; text-align: justify;"&gt;Preocupa-nos o reordenamento da rede escolar do sistema de ensino, dado que temos assistido ultimamente ao abandono do interior e das regiões mais isoladas, que carecem de um apoio suplementar para fazer face às dificuldades já de si acrescidas que têm de enfrentar. A primazia dada à verticalização pedagógica e organizacional de todos os níveis de ensino que é referida no documento tem sido feita através dos mega-agrupamentos, um enorme aglomerado de alunos e profissionais da educação em que se perde a identidade e o contacto mais pessoal entre os elementos da comunidade educativa.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: georgia; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 5px; text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: georgia; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 5px; text-align: justify;"&gt;O reforço da autonomia das escolas é um bom princípio, desde que essa autonomia seja efectiva, sem barreiras de ordem burocrática que constituam sistemáticos entraves ao bom funcionamento dos estabelecimentos de ensino dos diversos níveis. A introdução de elementos curriculares adequados às diferentes realidades locais deverá ser um instrumento importante para a futura integração dos sujeitos na vida activa, promovendo-se assim uma verdadeira autonomia das escolas na gestão do seu currículo.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: georgia; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 5px; text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: georgia; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 5px; text-align: justify;"&gt;Consideramos importante o alargamento da rede pré-escolar, como resposta às necessidades das crianças e das suas famílias.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: georgia; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 5px; text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A estabilidade e dignificação da profissão docente é também um princípio por nós defendido, mas que não se esgota num modelo de avaliação de desempenho. Sem dúvida que é importante avaliar as componentes científica e pedagógica e premiar o mérito e a excelência, incentivando as melhores práticas através de um sistema de avaliação de desempenho com base nos processos e nos resultados, mas que tenha em conta as especificidades de cada escola. A motivação e o desenvolvimento profissional dos professores será potenciada se houver um reforço da sua autoridade, no plano legal e social. A redução do trabalho administrativo atribuído a docentes, de forma a que estes possam dedicar a maior parte do seu tempo à formação dos seus alunos e à sua integração na sociedade, é outra medida importante para o sucesso educativo.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: georgia; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 5px; text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: georgia; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 5px; text-align: justify;"&gt;Por último, não podemos deixar de expressar a nossa extrema preocupação relativamente à execução orçamental do PEBSAE (Programa Ensino Básico e Secundário e Administração Escolar), dado que, de acordo com o Relatório OE2012, para cumprimento das metas impostas pela tróica, haverá supressão de ofertas não essenciais no ensino básico (redução de 102 milhões de euros), medidas de racionalização da rede escolar (menos 54 milhões de euros) e outras medidas de racionalização de recursos (redução de 101 milhões de euros). Se não formos responsáveis, imaginemos as repercussões económicas que isso poderá acarretar. Já durante o segundo período lectivo, foram realizadas sessões de sensibilização abordando os fundamentos da agricultura biológica, assim como as várias técnicas utilizadas na agricultura intensiva e na biológica, sendo focadas as vantagens e desvantagens de cada tipo. Aproveitando a aproximação da chegada da Primavera, os alunos já realizaram as sementeiras, em tabuleiros apropriados para o efeito, e acompanham agora o seu desenvolvimento. datado de 13 de Janeiro, a que a agência Lusa teve acesso, o Tribunal Constitucional (TC) considera "verificada a legalidade da constituição" e decide "deferir o pedido de inscrição, no registo próprio existente no Tribunal", do partido político e da sigla "PAN".&lt;br /&gt;O parecer do TC chega mais de um ano após a entrega, a 4 de Dezembro de 2009, de 9.259 assinaturas a pedir a criação do novo partido.&lt;br /&gt;Em declarações à Lusa, Paulo Borges, da comissão coordenadora do novo partido, afirmou que a constituição do PAN é "um marco histórico e a grande novidade desde o 25 de Abril".&lt;br /&gt;O PAN assume-se como "o primeiro partido ecologista realmente independente" e, segundo Paulo Borges, tem "uma forte base social de apoio", entre "simpatizantes e pré-inscritos", nas "dezenas de associações animalistas e ecologistas" e através da rede social Facebook.&lt;br /&gt;"O partido não depende apenas dos interesses dos seres humanos, mas tem uma perspectiva global sobre a realidade e sobre a importância de uma mudança na forma como o homem se relaciona com o meio ambiente", afirmou o responsável.&lt;br /&gt;Dias depois das eleições presidenciais, o PAN considera que a democracia portuguesa "vive um momento extremamente crítico", visível nomeadamente na abstenção elevada, mas também na quantidade de votos brancos e nulos verificados.&lt;br /&gt;Para Paulo Borges, a maior abstenção de sempre traduz "uma descrença em relação à vida política" ou "uma forma de protesto" do eleitorado, que "não se reconhece no actual quadro político".&lt;br /&gt;Também "a votação bastante expressiva" em candidatos considerados "fora" do sistema político" -- como Fernando Nobre ou José Manuel Coelho -- mostra que existe "uma franja considerável" de eleitores que "não se reconhece no actual sistema e quer uma alternativa".&lt;br /&gt;Além de preocupar-se com o "especismo" - criticando a forma "eticamente inaceitável" como o homem trata os animais, nomeadamente na "indústria da carne" - o PAN diz ainda ter preocupação "com as questões humanas", defendendo uma "melhor justiça social e uma economia de mercado virada para o equilíbrio ecológico".&lt;br /&gt;Os
